Never End Your Workshop with a Q&A
Consider how many conferences you have attended where the presenter ended with a Q&A session. This is a common presentation strategy—but don’t do it. Finishing with a Q&A leaves the audience’s final impression on a very specific topic that someone else, another audience member, directed. Instead of a Q&A, finish strong with a broad overview of what you covered to make your ending remarks stick in your guests’ minds. The end goal is to exceed your guests’ expectations with how much valuable information you provided during the seminar—and to leave them wanting more.
