Write an Article to Increase Conversions
If you are using a lead magnet campaign (an incentive such as an ebook that you offer prospects in exchange for their contact information) and aren’t getting the conversions (the percentage of people who visit your page and provide contact information) that you would like, try a different approach. Direct your traffic first to a lengthy article on your website on a similar topic as your ebook or other resource, and embed a call to action to download the resource within the article. The trust and credibility you develop through the free content will encourage visitors to provide their contact information for the premium content.
